A service contact is someone you can attach to your filing in order to send an electronic service notification to them (i.e. e-service). Service contacts will remain attached to the case so that you may continue to serve them in the future, or others who file on the case may serve them as well.

Rejected filings occur because the clerk review module does not allow for Filing Clerks to make changes to your filing. Upon submission to the court, if the filing clerk finds any mistakes, they will deny the filing, and mark it as Returned for Correction.
To convert documents to PDF, there is a common misconception is that in order to do that, especially for the purpose of E-Filing, you must print the document to paper, and then scan the paper to create a PDF.
Many courts prefer Text Searchable PDFs, and some courts even require PDFs to be text searchable.
While you may embed hyperlinks in your documents, highly recommend doing so carefully, and at your own risk. Currently, there is no validation that occurs within the Court’s system that would reject your document based on the fact that it contains hyperlinks.
You may scan documents in color, but we recommend you only do so if it is necessary to to properly illustrate the content of your document. Scanning in color will create larger file sizes, and make it more difficult for those who want to view the document to download and open it.
If your PDF exceeds the 25MB file size limit, you can try to reduce the size, optimize the document, or reconvert it using one of the following steps.
Most courts have a 25 MB file size limit imposed on any single document submitted to the Court. Anything exceeding this limit will prevent the submission of your filing.
