To turn the Auto-File feature on or off, filers can adjust their User Preferences.

View the User Preferences Screen

Click Settings from the Main Menu at the top.

Then select User Preferences from the Left Menu.

Enable Auto-File Drop Down

Scroll to the drop down labeled Enable Auto-File (see image below) and choose a setting:

  • Yes, use Auto-File feature: Select this to turn on the Auto-File feature. Our system will attempt to extract document type and party information from your uploaded documents.
  • No, do not use Auto-File feature: Choose this to turn off the Auto-File feature. Our system will NOT attempt to extract information from your uploaded documents.

Then click the SAVE button to save your preference.

When enabled, you may click Initiate a Case or File on Existing Case from the left menu of the dashboard to begin an autofiling.
