Navigating court requirements can be stressful, especially when deadlines are looming. Whether you need to serve a defendant or deliver a courtesy copy to a judge’s chambers, choosing the right service level is critical.

Here is a breakdown of how Green Filing and Court Filing manage your orders to ensure your legal documents reach their destination on time.

Service of Process: Delivery Speeds

We provide personal process serving for any address across the United States. While every order includes up to five attempts, the speed at which those attempts occur depends on the frequency level you select.

1. Standard Service (Three-Day)

This is the most cost-effective option for filings that are not under immediate time constraints.

  • First Attempt: Made within three business days of receiving your order.
  • Subsequent Attempts: Minimum of one attempt every three days thereafter.

2. Rush Service (One-Day)

Choose this option for urgent matters where every day counts.

  • Order received BEFORE 12:00 PM (Local Time): The first attempt is made the same day.
  • Order received AFTER 12:00 PM (Local Time): The first attempt is made the next day.
  • Subsequent Attempts: Made every single day until service is effectuated or five attempts are reached.
Note on Non-Service: If service cannot be completed after five attempts, you will receive a detailed non-service report. At that point, you will have the option to purchase additional attempts if you wish to continue.

Courtesy Copy Delivery Speeds

Many courts require a physical “courtesy copy” delivered directly to the judge. To guarantee these reach the courthouse on time, please adhere to the following submission deadlines (all times in Pacific Time).

Important Courtesy Copy Delivery Information

  • After-Hours: Any filing submitted after 11:00 AM PT, on a weekend, or on a court holiday will be processed as if it were submitted on the next business day.
  • Refund Policy: Please double-check your documents before submission. No refunds are given for courtesy copy deliveries related to filings that are rejected by the court.
